  • Training participation data: attendance/participation details required to issue certificates; CPD hours (where applicable).

  • Website usage data: IP address, device/browser information, pages viewed, approximate location, referral source.

  • Marketing preferences: opt-in/opt-out status, communication history.

We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g., health data, political opinions). Please do not submit such data to us unless we explicitly request it and you have a lawful basis.

3. How we use your data (purposes)

We use your personal data to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide information you request.

  • provide training services, administer bookings and deliver programmes;

  • issue certificates and confirm CPD hours where applicable;

  • manage our relationship with organisations, universities and partners;

  • improve and secure our website;

  • send marketing communications where you have consented or where permitted by law;

  • comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

  • Contract (to deliver training you book, or to take steps at your request prior to contracting).

Training Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

·         Client: the organisation, university, or individual purchasing training.

·         Participant: the individual attending the training.

·         Programme: any course/workshop/training delivered by IADM.

·         Booking: a confirmed agreement for delivery (virtual or on-site).

2. Scope

These Terms govern:

·         live virtual training (e.g., via Zoom);

·         on-site/in-house delivery by agreement;

·         group training and 1:1 delivery (where offered);

·         issuance of certificates and CPD hours (where applicable).

3. Booking and confirmation

A booking is confirmed when:

·         we confirm in writing (email is sufficient), and

·         the Client accepts the fee proposal/quotation (or completes checkout if applicable).

The Client is responsible for ensuring Participants meet any prerequisites stated in the programme description.

4. Fees and payment

·         Fees are as stated in our proposal, booking confirmation, or published programme page.

·         Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of invoice date.

·         Late payments may result in suspension of delivery or withholding of certificates until payment is received.

VAT / Tax:
VAT treatment depends on the place of supply and the Client’s status. Where VAT is applicable, it will be shown on the invoice. Where VAT is not applicable, the invoice will state this accordingly.

5. Delivery format and access

Virtual delivery:

·         Participants require a stable internet connection and suitable device.

·         We may use third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom). Participants must follow platform rules and IADM conduct expectations.

On-site delivery:

·         The Client is responsible for providing an appropriate room, AV setup, and safe working environment.

·         Travel and accommodation (if applicable) will be agreed in advance.

6. Changes, rescheduling and cancellation (B2B-friendly default)

Unless otherwise stated in the specific booking agreement:

Rescheduling by Client (group/in-house):

·         More than 14 days before delivery: reschedule once at no additional fee (subject to trainer availability).

Rescheduling by Client (group/in-house):

·         7–14 days: rescheduling fee of 25% of the booking fee (minimum £250).

·         Less than 7 days: 75% of the booking fee may be payable due to trainer allocation and preparation.

Cancellation by Client:

·         More than 14 days: cancellation fee 15% of the booking fee (administration and preparation).

·         Less than 14 days: 75% of the booking fee may be payable.

Rescheduling/cancellation by IADM:
If we must reschedule due to trainer illness or unforeseen events, we will offer:

·         a new date, or

·         a suitable replacement trainer, or

·         a refund of amounts paid for undelivered services.

7. Substitutions

The Client may substitute Participants at no cost, provided we are notified in advance and the substitute meets any prerequisites.

8. Certificates, CPD hours and attendance

·         Certificates are issued to Participants who meet attendance/participation requirements.

·         CPD hours are stated per programme where CPD accreditation applies.

·         If a Participant does not attend or leaves early, we may decline to issue a certificate or award CPD hours.

9. Intellectual property and materials

All training materials, slides, templates and content remain the intellectual property of IADM (or the relevant licensors).

The Client and Participants may use materials for internal learning purposes only. They may not:

·         reproduce, publish, sell, or distribute materials externally,

·         record sessions or share recordings, unless explicitly agreed in writing.

10. Recording and confidentiality

·         Recording (audio/video/screen capture) is not permitted without prior written consent from IADM.

·         Where confidential information is shared in a workshop, both parties agree to treat it as confidential and not disclose it without permission (except as required by law).

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

·         We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit, loss of business).

·         Our total liability for any claim arising from the booking is limited to the fees paid for the specific programme giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Conduct

We reserve the right to remove a Participant from training for disruptive behaviour, harassment, or misuse of platforms. In such cases, no refund is due.

13. Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law (where applicable).
